DESCRIPTION
A new brand and identity suite for Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation and their programs. The client wanted a change from their previous identity which felt childish and too whimsical. My job was to create a new logo that felt more mature, but still nurturing, and also incorporated the idea of a family since the Foundation’s focus is on parents and their children. In addition to the Foundation’s logo, I created a logo system for their programs that allows the programs to function on their own, but still visually connect to the main foundation.
Strategy: Spearca Communications
The Concept Behind the Logo
The main foundation’s logo mark is a culmination of the care and support that Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation provides to children and families throughout the state of Colorado.
The Foundation’s Program Logos
The Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation logo was restructured and transformed to create the supporting program logos. This system of shapes allows flexibility, while still maintaining a feeling of support, care, and community, and connection to the Foundation’s logo.
The Stink Bug Project: In partnership with the prison-trained K-9 Program at Colorado Correctional Industries, the Stink Bug Project matches well-trained, loving companion dogs with children diagnosed with cancer.
Mothers’ Milk Bank: A nonprofit program that collects, processes, tests and provides donor human milk (breast milk) to babies across the country.

The Visual Identity In Use
The new visual identity was used to create a stationery suite, business cards and envelopes. It was also carried out through social media, brochures, emails and more.
